NVC Letter is here!

My National Visa Center (NVC) letter came today!!  This means my immigration information has been sent to the US Consulate in Guangzhou.  Now on to the next step before Travel Approval (TA)-- Article 5.  Article 5 is a preliminary approval of my immigration file by the US Consulate.  Once I get this, it is delivered to the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) and TA can be issued.  Getting closer!!  As luck would have it, though, it looks like China is going to throw a national holiday into the mix.  What this means for me is that even though my paperwork is issued, my travel will be delayed until the weeklong holiday is over and government offices open up again.  Oh, the ups and downs of the adoption world.
